I manage Sloop Point Grove the way I'd want to be hosted.

Hampstead found me a while back, and I never left. There's something here that's harder and harder to find — a place that still feels like it belongs to the people who live in it. The live oaks, the wildlife passing through the yard, the neighbors who say good morning on the road. I care about keeping that.

When something needs attention, I want to hear about it before it becomes your problem. I answer texts, pick up the phone, and don't go quiet between move-in and move-out. You're here to focus on your assignment, your family, or your next step — not to chase down a maintenance issue or wonder if someone's on the other end. That part is handled.

Whether you're here for a month or six, Sloop Point Grove should be the easiest part of your stay — welcoming when you arrive, worry-free while you're here, and exactly as described from the first message to move-out day.

A home I'd live in myself.

There are furnished rentals that are technically furnished. And then there's this.

Mid-term and furnished rentals have a reputation. You arrive and spend the first week filling in the gaps — a couch that should have been replaced years ago, a kitchen with nothing in it, a closet with no hangers. You end up making updates just to feel at home rather than actually settling in.

This place is set up to be the opposite. The furniture is in great shape, the kitchen is stocked, and yes — there are hangers. Everything was chosen for the space and is exactly as it should be. Walk in, put your things down, and get on with why you're here.

I've spent years cleaning and managing private residences professionally — places where the bar was set high and every detail was accounted for. That meant setting up homes at the start of each season: couch cushions back in place, every room arranged, every dish confirmed. A checklist, every time, from top to bottom. That's the same approach here. You'll walk in and everything will be exactly where it should be.

Set up with care, kept that way
The furniture, the kitchen, the linens — all chosen for the space and in great shape. Nothing's missing, nothing needs replacing. You shouldn't have to think about any of it, and you won't.
Cleaned like it matters
Professionally cleaned before every stay by someone who has done this for years at a high standard. Fresh linens, clean throughout. The same standard every time — not close enough. Always done right.
A location that keeps getting better
Sloop Point is safe, established, and zoned for Topsail-area schools — South Topsail Elementary, Topsail Middle, and Topsail High School, which ranks in the top 20% of all public high schools in North Carolina. Two hospitals are within 15–20 minutes. And the US-17 Hampstead Bypass is actively under construction: the segment from NC-210 directly to Sloop Point Loop Road opens in late 2027, putting Wilmington and Jacksonville within easy reach without stoplights or bottlenecks.

Most of what's being built in Hampstead today is new construction — clean, efficient, and built for turnover. Sloop Point Grove is none of that. It's an original ranch-style home, the kind of footprint that was common here before the area started to change, and that's almost impossible to find now.

The kitchen works, the WiFi is fast, and every appliance is updated. But what makes it feel different is harder to manufacture — a real yard, mature live oaks that have been here longer than the road, and a quiet that's earned rather than constructed. If you're looking for the feel of Hampstead before everything started changing, this is the closest thing to it.

It was renovated with care, not just to rent. New where it counts, original where it still holds up.

The property has Silver Stripe bamboo, Alphonse Karr bamboo, longleaf pine, and live oaks that shade the whole yard by afternoon. Things were planted here intentionally — for privacy, for beauty, and for the kind of green stillness that makes a place feel restorative.

A place to come home to

After a long shift or a hard week, Sloop Point Grove gives you somewhere to actually decompress. The yard sits under a canopy of live oaks and bamboo that softens the light and quiets the noise. There's birdsong in the morning and stillness in the evening — what the Japanese call shinrin-yoku, forest bathing. Here, it just happens naturally.
